Y. P. S. Dabas, S. C. Sud
Abstract
Estradiol-17棺 and progesterone at the rate of 0.1 and 0.25 mg respectively, per kg body weight per day were administered s/c to each of the five infertile feifers for 3 consecutive days i.e. days 1 to 3, and 2 ng of reserpine were followed twice daily on days 8 to 11. Results indicated that three of the treated heifers were successfully induced into lactation. Progesterone concentrations in the blood plasma and defatted milk exhibited considerable variations.
